About the Book

I'm writing a book. For the next few months, I'm going to share aspects of with you so can get a sense of my journey..

It's called From Noise to Music — a leadership book built on a simple idea: the difference between a career that feels chaotic and one that feels composed isn't talent. It's whether you can hear the pattern you're playing.

I spent 20+ years in the Air Force. I've also spent that same span as a working musician — vocal groups, guitarist, songwriting, performance.

Those two lives taught me the similar lessons from opposite directions: Noise becomes music the moment you learn to read it.

Starting now, I'm posting one idea a week from the book — the framework, the failures, the moments that taught me this. It will also show how my faith is equally intertwined.

Follow along. Some weeks it'll be about leadership. Some weeks it'll be about the military transition nobody prepares you for. Every week, it'll be true.

What's one pattern in your career you've never said out loud? Start here — drop your thoughts below.
